I attended a network lunch with a group of dynamic business women yesterday.
Women are so enthusiastic when it comes to promoting their business.
The introductions can be so long winded that my hunger overtakes and I lose focus.
One helpful tip I learnt when it comes to introducing my business in 15 seconds is to state a pain or problem people might have, introduce who you are and give the benefit of your solution. It keeps it brief and people wanting to know more.
Now, rather than stating everything that I have to offer, I think about what's in it for the other person and I have much more success and interest.
Keeping it brief makes for a great first impression as well and respects other people's time.
Please share what you have found works well for you.
Make your first impression count

Spot on, Tina!
We girls are passionate about the value we bring to the world, and can get carried away by our own enthusiasm for our work.
I look forward to a little coaching from you to help me shape my 15 second (could that be 30 seconds, pleeease?) introduction.
Your ValuesCoach,
Karyn Clarke
